On 27 October 2015, the European Union published Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1933, annex to Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in cocoa fibre, banana chips, food supplements, dried herbs and dried Revised maximum levels in spices. According to (EC) No 1881/2006, the maximum levels of PAHs must be safe and the minimum level necessary for the intended use based on good manufacturing practice in agriculture/fishing. Amends 6.1.2 of Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006, Section 6 "Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons", i.e. said cocoa beans and products do not include the products mentioned in 6.1.11; new provision 6.1.11 , 6.1.12, 6.1.13, 6.1.14 and 6.1.15, namely the establishment of the maximum residue limits of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in cocoa fiber and its products, banana chips, food supplements, dried herbs and dried spices respectively.
