In the International Cargo Department of Kunming Airport, customs officers conduct on-site inspections of fresh morels exported to Spain. Since February, Kunming Airport Customs has guaranteed a total of 6.8 tons of fresh morels to be exported to Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland and other EU countries and the US market.

Morels are favored by European and American consumer markets because they are rich in a variety of amino acids, delicious and nutritious. Yunnan is one of the main producing areas of fresh Morchella, and is listed as the first among the "Four Famous Mushrooms" in Yunnan, with an annual output of about 150 tons, accounting for 20% of our country. In the past, mainly dry mushroom products were exported. Since 2016, fresh morels have been exported to the international market for the first time, and have been exported to Germany, France, Switzerland and the United States and other European and American countries and regions, and gradually opened up the international market, becoming another market competitiveness in the export of fresh wild mushrooms. This year, Yunnan fresh morels are expected to further sell well in the international market and increase export volume.
